The designation by the promoter of a health and safety coordinator in a work is required, as long as a company intervens, or when a company intervens and at least a selft-employed worker, or several self-employed workers.

  • Approve the health and safety plan/s ellaborated by the contractor/s and, in its case, the modifications introduced to same plan.
  • Coordinate the application of the general principles of safety and prevention.
  • Coordinate the activities of the work to ensure that the contractors, subcontractors and self-employed workers can apply, in a coherent and responsible way, the principles of the preventive action.
  • Organize the coordination of the business activities predicted in the 24 article of the Occupational Risks Prevention Law.
  • Coordinate the actions and control functions of the correct application of the methods of work.
  • Adopt the neccesary measures so that only authorized people can access the work.
